As is done when displaying .directory and *.desktop files themselves, apply .directory file to display of containing directory.
This would allow localized presentation and customer icons of directory (that works on removable media). Ideally, directories should allow editing their (not yet existent) .directory file with the usual [Desktop File]-editor, though limiting editable fields to those that make sense for directories.
When renaming a directory that has a .directory file, show the real name in editor.
