E17 is great but needs to improve its user friendliness. Some things are easy to fix, like the use of standards terms.

Shelves, iBars, and Modules/Gadgets? are basic components that are bound to be used/modified from the start by everybody, including beginners.

The use of the term 'shelves' instead of the already established 'toolbars' or 'panels' made them look confusing, and E17 more complex, for ABSOLUTELY no reason. The same is true of iBar (what the heck is an iBar?) and of 'loading' modules.

Ibar needs to be more descriptive (like App Bar or Launch Bar...), add '(iBar)' to the name to do credit to the developer if you want... but just using iBar forces new users to figure out what it is. Again, it makes E17 more complex for ABSOLUTELY no reason.

What does 'load' modules mean? Why not use instead 'install/uninstall' or 'turn on/off' or 'enable/disable'. These are simpler and already clear in people's minds. Why creating confusion unnecessarily.

People do not read documentation...

I STRONGLY urge you to change the terms above. They create confusion and UNNECESSARILY make E17 look more complex that it is. It may look awkward to make those changes now, but consider that it forces every new user to figure out what current terms means and your user base will only increase. It forces everyone who writes E17 guides to clarify these... again, adding to complexity.
